A tropical Oktoberfest was organized by all German members and held at Wolfgang and Helen Rohm's restaurant Kristin’s in Golden Fields, Bacolod City, featuring the German traditional sport Fingerhakeln (finger wrestling), basic steps of the Schuh-plattler (German slap dance), and of course experiencing the delightful taste of German beer! Sadly, the event was also the 'good-bye' for our initial members and German teachers from IPON who left with a very own interpretation of the song Marmor, Stein und Eisen bricht...
